Photography Education
Our range of photography lessons is perfect for those just starting out or for seasoned photographers eager to sharpen their skills. We offer beginner and advanced courses in digital photography, film photography, and even darkroom techniques. Every session is hands-on and designed to help you gain confidence behind the camera and in the darkroom, so you can make your creative vision a reality.
Portrait Studio
Our portrait studio is a clean, simple space ideal for photographers looking to create beautiful portraits. It has plenty of natural light but you’re welcome to bring in your own lighting equipment to enhance your shoot. While we’re still updating the space with additional features, it’s already a fantastic option for portrait photography.

Hire Our Darkroom
For photographers who enjoy the tactile process of developing film, we offer darkroom hire. Perfect for enthusiasts who want to experience the full journey of analog photography, our darkroom is set up with all the necessary equipment to develop and print your own photos. Whether you’re new to film photography or looking for a reliable space to continue your work, our darkroom rental provides the tools and space you need.

Perhaps a little selfishly, we are creating a space for us. It is a space full of books and photos and art and tea and all of the things that make our souls sing.
What We Do
We are a portrait studio, art gallery, film lab, photography darkroom, school & retail store in the leafy Melbourne suburb of Olinda atop Mt Dandenong.
