Our photography zine, Loop Zine Issue #2 is almost here and ready.
It’s an honour to piece together articles from more than 6 talented local and international photographers, including three women & 3 blokes. The joy of reading, organising the layout & then sending your work to print is unreal and gets me stoked every time. I can’t believe this is something I get to do, but here we are!

Photography Zine - Official Cover Reveal
We’re excited to reveal the official cover photo for this issue! It was created by Loop supporter Natalie Finney and features in her article, “On Awe & Wonder in Photography.” She beautifully articulates that “Photography is more than just making pictures; it’s an invitation to enter a flow state and switch off the logical, cognitive side of your brain.”
While there were two images that could have been the cover photo for this issue, it was Natalie’s that truly grabbed the most attention and demanded its place on the cover. I can’t wait for you to see it in the flesh!
Inside Issue #2
Now, let’s talk about the goodies inside Issue #2! This collection is delightful, bursting with colour, and some pieces are beautifully monochrome. We have stories shot exclusively on film, others taken with digital cameras, and a few that blend both mediums. Each article serves as a unique window into the world of the author.
Inside, you’ll find captivating tales of motherhood, the life of a tradesman, the development of personal style, and even stories about trees! This issue showcases a multitude of perspectives on life, all circling back to the sheer joy of creating photographs.
